I just woke up from a nightmare crying and horrified by what my own mind could create.

I dreamt that I was working in my craft room like I do everyday when I heard yelling and screams. I looked outside and saw my neighbors being attacked by what I assumed were crazy, enraged people. I was wrong.
I watched in horror as my neighbors were not only attacked but bitten and torn apart by the undead.
These monsters were everywhere. The parking lot was flooded with the hungry undead and neighbors trying to get away.
I knew I would not escape this.
I went to the bedroom and gathered up pillows and blankets from the closet and took them to the bathroom. I lined the tub with them and then headed to the kitchen pantry. I grabbed the box of medicine and headed back to the bathroom.
I took one last look out the window when I returned to my craft room to get my phone. It was a horror movie come to life and I was not going to be the star of the film, not a survivor.
As I went back into the bathroom I heard banging and scratching coming from the front door. I closed the bathroom door behind me.
I sat in the pillow lined tub, wrapped myself in blankets and started taking pills. I looked at my phone trying to think of something to say to Michael.
Should I just text him?
Should I call?
Is he even alive?
I sent him a text…
“I’m taking my own life. Won’t let them take it from me. Don’t come home. It’s too dangerous. I’m sorry. I love you.”
Send.
…
No response.
Getting tired, my stomach hurts. I laid down and cried. I prayed that if there is an afterlife that I wouldn’t go to hell for this. I prayed that Michael and my family was alright.
Heard a loud crash, they probably broke through the front door.
So tired.
Can’t stop crying, close my eyes.

Then I woke up. Crying silently, staring at my husband’s face in the dark. He is sound asleep as I lay here terrified. I want to wake him but that is just selfish. He has to wake up early for work and it was just a nightmare.

I don’t want to go back to sleep, or be alone. I wish he was awake.

I don’t think parents realize how damaging their words can be.
Some people are influenced by what others(parents) think and say about them(children).
I am unfortunately, one of those influenced by my parents words. If you tell me I seem miserable then I will ultimately feel miserable.

Michael won this pink cupcake toy from a claw machine for me(or just cuz he likes to play and win at that silly machine). Her name is Sweetie Nom Noms and she can trust me not to eat her. Can’t eat gluten (or fabric, or stuffing) so she is safe.

So in about a year(maybe longer????) we will be house hunting and I’m already a little overwhelmed by all the variables.

Soooooooo, feel like a douche for this, but I kind of wish I had a rich old relative. I hope they have been secretly keeping tabs on me out of love(not creepy stalker like) and then they croak and leave me their beautiful house and all there money. Would make everything so much easier.

No, nevermind. Knowing me, I would be super skeptical and wouldn’t accept. :-P
